Senior Member Location: APOLLO, PA | FOR SALE: SA M1A Pre-Ban Super Match (Rear Lug) Any Takers? I have a SA M1A Pre-Ban Super Match in my safe that I don't shoot. It is an early '94' which means it has a rear lug. All Parts are U.S.G.I. except the barrel which is SA. When I bought the rifle years ago from a gentleman there was a defect in the barrel and wasn't shot much and the gentleman sent it back to SA and they put a brand new Super Match barrel on it. Since I've had it with a new barrel I put appraox. 20 rounds threw it. So this rifle is dam near brand new. I shoot my SA Standard rifle with cheep ammo anymore so I don't need the Super Match. One U.S.G.I mag will come with the rifle. I'm asking $1,820.00 shipped to your FFL. Hell I'll throw in three 30 round USA mags with the deal (I know they are crape, but they are free). I'll even throw in 5 more 20 round aftermarket mags (These ones work great: never a malfunction and cost $25.00 each 4 years ago). For an extra $100.00 I can sell a hard case that I cut the foam to fit rifle and mags. I really don't believe I'm asking nearly as much as some on this board for a Pre-Ban Super Match. I will be loosing money. But I Really need a good Elliptical Fitness Trainer to get my butt back into shape. They aren't cheep either. So this rifle got to go. |

I've not owned this rifle previously. I was looking for a place to research the serial number, but didn't find anything definitive. On one site there is an indication that it is a standard M1A, built perhaps around 1992.
